SIGNING MOU ON TRAINING SOFT SKILLS FOR LECTURERS AND STUDENTS BETWEEN HANOI COLLEGE FOR ELECTRO – MECHANICS AND NAVIGOS SEARCH

Hanoi, February 2nd, 2018 — Navigos Search and Hanoi College for Electro – Mechanics today officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on training soft skills for lecturers and students of Hanoi College for Electro – Mechanics. The cooperation will bring about useful training programs for students such as resume writing skills and job interview skills. For lecturers, Navigos Search will provide separate training programs on these skills so that the lecturers can train the students in the next courses. The training courses for students are expected to start in the first quarter of 2018 to support the students who will graduate this year. These training programs will be conducted by the experienced recruitment consultants of Navigos Search.

With the desire to improve the quality of human resources in Vietnam, over the years, Navigos Search have always striven to bring about practical & quality corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities which target young labor workforce. Besides training students at universities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, in 2018, Navigos Search will begin to provide training courses for students from vocational colleges, of which Hanoi College for Electro – Mechanics is the first college that Navigos Search will collaborate this year. This activity is part of Navigos Search’s corporate social responsibility strategy in 2018, which aims to support the students to get the best employment opportunities after graduation.

At the signing ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Mai, Managing Director of Navigos Search, said: “As a leading company in Vietnam’s recruitment market, we find that the quality of Vietnamese labors, even the quality of middle and senior-level managers still have some certain limitations. Therefore, we would like to contribute to the improvement of Vietnamese employees’ quality through training sessions, in which we provide necessary skills and up-to-date information on the labor market. This activity will prepare the skills and attitudes for students before entering the labor market. Choosing college students is our new direction to create equal opportunities for having soft skills training between college students and university students”.

Our students will be confident when applying to large companies with modern and professional working environment. At the same time, our lecturers will gain more knowledge and skills to design more quality activities when teaching soft skills to students”.
