I joined our company in 2003 and I have to admit that it was very difficult at the start. At times we were turned down by clients and experienced seemingly endless technical problems. Sometimes I felt scared when the phone rang! I felt worried to the point that I started to lose my self-confidence. I became pessimistic and eventually wanted to give up and walk away.
But then I looked at the team I had. Deep inside me rose the ownership, the pride, and the responsibility to help develop the company. I told myself, ‘OK. Stay and strive. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.’ And you know what? I am thankful that I did! Now I can look back and rejoice as I remember the challenges that I overcame with my team. The challenges helped us grow, become stronger and more positive.
In life we always have to face challenges, and working in our company has taught me that nothing is too hard to handle.

I feel like I have two birthdays each year. One day to celebrate the day I was born, and one to celebrate the day I started at Vietnamworks. My second birthday every year reminds me of amazing memories, lessons learnt and all of the available opportunities for me to keep growing here. This year, July 8th , marked my 5th anniversary with the company. With each passing anniversary, I set new resolutions and work out to achieve them. I am very proud and happy to have joined Vietnamworks in those early days.
Do you really want to know my personal changes over the past few years? There’s a lot of them! But I wouldn’t trade my experiences.
I used to be very playful and sometimes even, say, childish. After five years I have become more mature, patient, and perceptive. That feels good to look back and see the change. I talk less and listen more, but I am still slim (as in my nickname “slim” that Jonah gave me) and look just as young and happy as I did on my first day.
If you have time, stop by my desk and I’ll show you some fun pictures of some of the unforgettable stories...

Success doesn’t come easy, and there is really no secret to it. To our team, it’s all about having the right combination of continuous hard work, team spirit, and the will to percervere in spite of all the difficulties. After last year’s accomplishments, we were committed to bring the Salary Survey Project to the next level of success –featuring new breakthroughs and benefits for our clients. We knew this was the best way for us to go head-to-head with our big competitors, who were also planning their release date around the same time. Looking back at the journey we went through the past few months, it’s still unbelievable to me how we overcame all the challenges and achieved what we have today. In the future, we believe that our clients will think of Navigos Group’s Vietnam Salary Survey as the first and best choice for their company. As for our team, we are getting ready for the next challenges ahead.
